On Saturday April 13, 2024 hams in Washington County will send email to each other by ham radio only (no internet). Hams may participate from home or from several “served agency” locations.
Hams sending email “P2P” (aka Peer-to-peer or point to point) only requires a ham radio, power, an antenna, laptop, the proper software, soundcard and appropriate cables. Oh, and training.
We will start by 0900 that morning. We will establish a voice net to coordinate taking turns sending email over radio frequency (RF) over three pre-selected local simplex frequencies.
